Those Words at the Beginning or the End

The short story Miriam’s Tears is finished.

I decided that it needed an afterword, for the folks who read it this week and were wondering, “What was that all about?” So I wrote one.

But then I decided that it would also be appropriate, maybe better, for someone who hadn’t begun the story to read it first, so I renamed it a Foreword.

But then I looked up Foreword to make sure I was spelling it correctly, and saw that it should really be called a Preface, since forewords tend to be written by someone other than the author.

Just click on Miriam’s Tears in the sidebar of the main page, if you ever want to send the story to someone else, or if you want to read the Afterword (or Preface) now.
